01 KNOWLEDGE

Unity
All the projects in my portfolio were developed in Unity using C#, the language I'm most proficient in. During my internship at Silent Chicken, I used this engine for both programming and level design. I'm familiar with the development environment and its related tools. The IDE I worked with was Visual Studio Community.
To collaborate with other programmers I mainly used Github Desktop and SourceTree.

Unreal Engine 5
Although I don't have any projects in my portfolio, I've spent several hours working with Unreal in my courses, both in the classroom and on Udemy, gaining excellent familiarity with the engine and its visual scripting system.

Game Design
I've studied game design in its various forms both through my courses and through playing critically for years. I have several projects in my portfolio involving both data-oriented design and level design. I've also acquired strong production skills by coordinating the work of several other students.
SC
I'm Salvatore, I live in Bologna and I've been studying programming to work in the game development world since 2023. I've always been passionate about the nerd world, my favorite games are Monster Hunter and The Witcher 3.
I used my years of study to develop various prototypes but also to deepen my strong interest in game design, which I hope to be able to put into practice as much as my programming skills.

03 EXPERIENCE
Present
Wildpad Games
After an initial internship, I started working at Wildpad Games on the development of Kloa - Child of the Forest.
I have carried out tasks in both programming and game design.
2024
Internship at Silent Chicken
For the first year of the ITS course, I completed my three-month internship working on Sliding Hero. I mainly worked on UI programming and puzzle and level design.
2023-2025
ITS Course
2-year on-site course. I mainly studied Unity and Game Design, as well as practicing with Github and Blender.
2023
Demetra Course - Unreal & Producing
A 6-month classroom course, where I gained my first hands-on experience with Unreal.
2001-2023
Previous Studies
Before embarking on my journey in the game development world, I graduated with honors from a scientific high school in applied sciences and studied chemistry at university for two years.
